Zhongguo Sheng is the representative of the violin performing art in China and the one of the earliest Chineseviolinists who has won international honor. He is violin soloist of the China National Symphony Orchestra, and the president of China Violin Society.

The name of Zhongguo Sheng makes a record in the contemporary music history. He has received many honors throughout the world, such as Australian Broadcasting Corporation lists him in “the World’s Greatest Artists”; CCTV honored him as “Star Classical Musician”;the image ambassador and chairman of China Association for Promoting Commonweal; Patriotic Huabiao Award; China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation Person of the Year; France knight title and metal, etc.

Mr. Sheng often takes part in judging many international violin competitions. He was the president jury of the three major violin competitions in China. Recently, he was the image ambassador ofChinese Documentary—“China One Belt and One Road Walking into Italy Milan World Expo”held by CCTV; and China Social Arts Society in 2015 and hold a solo recital at the World Expo, and received 2015 Hong Kong Star TV Global Chinese Influential Figure Award in January 2016. To commend his achievement, China Philately releases stamps of his portrait, and his statue of holding violin is standing at public place.
